Everyone faces challenges. In fact, sometimes, it seems as if Christians face a lot of challenges more than unbelievers. It always looks as if others are better in their jobs, marriages, finances etc.
With all these for us to deal with as believers, we tend to worry how we’ll cope. We say to ourselves, “how do I pay the rent”, “when will I get a good job”,”I am getting old, when will I get married” and many others.
But the truth is, most times, God is trying to teach us patience and faith.
“Some of you are not in a place to increase now; You are in a place to be built. He is using the difficulty, the divine hesitation to teach you patience. So that you don’t just have faith but you learn to trust God when you can’t trace him” – Paul Adefarasin
God wants you to have faith in him. The Bible says in Philippians 4:6;
“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. “
You shouldn’t fret over situations but commit everything into God’s hands. Trust him and make positive confessions about your situations. Be sensitive to his directions. Kenneth E. Hagin once shared a story of a man who was in debt and was to face a court case but each night, he kept thanking God and refusing to worry after making a request to God for mercy. This man was later set free.
Whatsoever you accept will be your reality. Don’t accept the wrong stuff. I once applied to an institution and eventually was accepted but prior to that, I was told a lot of negative feedback of how difficult it was to be accepted. But I refused to accept that but trust God.
As Christians, God promised us victory in every situation but not a life without challenges.
God granted Daniel and his friends favor and they looked ten times better than his counterparts.
“Good things are meant to happen in your life that will cause people say we have never seen anything like this” – Smith Wigglesworth
So why those it look like others are better and always get the best? There are a lot of reasons but a major reason is ignorance. Most Christians have wrong mindsets towards successful living. They don’t know the right principles and continually struggle in their lives. They feel certain blessings are not for them. Know and apply the truth of God’s word and see your life change for good.
Have faith in God. Enjoy your day!
